10 Secrets of the Aries Personality You Should Know

Zodiac signs are a foolproof way of figuring out the personality traits of a person. While a lot of people do not agree with this, in my personal experience, people of a certain zodiac do display characteristics that match the profile of their zodiac sign in general. That being said, it does not mean that people cannot deviate from their zodiac sign’s characteristics.

Our personalities are shaped by our genetics, society, beliefs, values & most importantly, our circumstances. Therefore, it would be stupid to expect from a person born under a specific zodiac to display the characteristics of that zodiac.

Aries is a fire sign and people born between the dates of March 21^stto April 19^thfall under this zodiac sign. Aries is ruled by the planet Mars, and the color of this zodiac is red. Because it is ruled by Mars, Aries is considered an energetic sign. Like other fire signs, Aries is considered to have a combatant nature. They are also thought to be impatient and edgy. A common perception about Aries is that it is one of the most impatient signs you can come across. But I think this statement is not true for every Aries.

Spontaneity & Surprises

This fire sign is super energetic and literally, want the best of everything for themselves. They also love good surprises. I mean, everyone loves a good surprise but Aries appreciate the effort and tend to return the favor. They are very good at showing affection with their actions and not just words. If you have an Aries in your life, you can expect to receive some lavish gifts from them. For example, if they get to know you have a thing for astronomy, they’re likely to get a star registered for you.

Loyalty

Aries demand undying fidelity. Because they are so charming and articulate, they have no trouble finding people who love their company and want to be around them all the time. But that doesn’t mean that all the friends you see an Aries hanging out with are the trusted ones. They can spot the fair-weather friends from a miles’ distance and tend to avoid them. Instead, an Aries has a close-knit circle of a few trustworthy friends. These are the friends who Aries know are willing to follow them to the end of the world. And they loathe betrayal, so tread carefully.

Born Leaders

Leadership is an innate quality of Aries. But Aries do not derive this quality from their desire to lead; rather, they have the decision-making power that enables them to step up in situations when others cannot. Aries trust their intuition a great deal. Therefore, they do not need the assistance of others to make decisions. They make their decisions for themselves, and they would happily make yours for you if need be. This ability of diving in their intuition to seek solutions to potential problems is exactly what makes them popular and likable.

Fearlessly Independent

The most envied trait of the Ram is their ability to stay independent. It can be a bit troublesome when it comes to forming personal relationships, and it can also lead to bigger conflicts. However, on the bright side, people should appreciate the honesty that an Aries brings to the table.

Aries are so self-involved that they are almost enviable for other people. The motivation to succeed is inherent in these individuals, and they are always willing to put hard work in it. They have a ‘live & let live’ attitude towards life unless you cross your boundaries. Aries is likely to forgive all your mistakes except betrayal. As long as you don’t cross the line, they will give you your freedom and generously forgive you for your mistakes.

They’re Not Really Stubborn

A Ram signifies this zodiac, and therefore, it is normally perceived by people as a stubborn zodiac sign. However, that is not entirely true. Aries can act a bit stuck up, but that doesn’t mean they’re senseless stubborn dimwits. As I have mentioned before, Aries has an amazing intuition, and they use this intuition to process a circumstance before making decisions. If an Aries says they’re right; you better believe them. I don’t find that being stubborn; I think that is being confident about your judgment.

Impeccable Sense of Humor

It's not like Aries need another reason to be loveable except their charm; to top that off they have a very good sense of humor. They are witty and quick to think on their feet in any situation, and they always come up with the best answers. This trait serves as a cherry on top for their personality, because they are fun and outgoing people. If you spot someone cracking jokes at a lively party, it’s possibly an Aries.

They’re Very Impatient

Since Mars rules this zodiac, it is not likely that you’ll find a patient, Aries. With time, they might learn to be patient. However, this is not a trait Aries are born with. I am not stereotyping, but there’s a fair chance that the guy who’s impatiently honking the horn in a traffic jam could be an Aries. It is probably the only negative trait for Aries that can be dangerous for them. They tend to work hard in their life, but they get impatient when they do not achieve the results. They need to understand that life has its timings for everything.

They’re Generous

Did I mention it before? Aries are so generous you would be surprised. They're one of the most hospitable people that you can come across. If someone’s in need, they wouldn’t think twice before sharing their possessions with them. The best part about Aries generosity is that they do not like to show off their benevolent nature. You won’t find them flaunting the list of their pro bono works or how often they help with community service. Aries are kind-hearted and compassionate people who like to make sure everyone’s happy.

They’re a Chatterbox

Aries LOVE talking. While some of the more extroverted types like to talk whenever they get a chance, you might think the introverted types aren’t the talkers. That can’t be further from the truth. Once an Aries is aware of the fact that they can trust you and share their deepest secrets with you, you’ll find them blabbering 24/7. Even the most brooding kind appears to be talkative and cheery. Aries like to solve problems through communication as well, and they’re very good at it provided that they have the will to communicate.

Inherently Optimistic

Aries has this amazing quality of being inherently optimistic. They are not the kind who gets depressed or bored unless a major trauma hits them in their lives. Even if they aren’t the most sociable people;

Aries tend to be optimistic about life. They are the kind of people who will tell you that life is all rainbows and sunshine, and we all could use a little bit of that in our lives.

But even if you have some of these Aries traits and you’re born under this sun sign, you might not feel like this is your zodiac sign. Some people switch their zodiac when their characteristics do not match with a particular zodiac sign’s profile.
