Zodiac Signs and Money: Were You Meant to be Rich?

Though zodiac signs are often considered when it comes to love matches, career success is less often correlated with astrology. However, your zodiac sign (as it is indicative of your personality traits and tendencies) could factor into career choice and therefore your earning potential. Because certain astrological signs are correlated with certain characteristics, strengths and traits, if you put your efforts into a career that utilizes your best qualities, you are more likely to enjoy what you do and be successful doing it.

Remember, that success and prosperity can be defined as more than just material wealth - depending on the person, this may have more to do with personal freedom, satisfaction, spiritual fulfillment, or the ability to give to others, your community or the world.

The Richest Zodiac Signs

Most of the zodiac signs possess the appropriate characteristics in order to be successful in their chosen career. On the other hand, some of the zodiac signs are much more motivated by and geared towards material wealth, power and high profile careers. Let's identify these zodiac signs.

Aries (March 21 - April 20) are natural born leaders and enjoy coming up with or pioneering ideas. People born under this sign are (as the ram that represents Aries) forceful, strong-willed, action oriented, enthusiastic, ambitious, creative, impulsive, vociferous, vibrant, competitive, and often aggressive. Aries is the sign of heroes. This sign does well in media, TV, advertising, promotions, architecture, sports, firefighting, and law enforcement as businesspeople or entrepreneurs.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20) is the "sign that rules money." This earth sign is associated with resourcefulness, stability, dependability, and a love of beautiful things. They are motivated by material wealth, and do well in banking, science, stock market, and the arts.

Leo (July 23 - August 22). The mighty lion of the zodiac is the Leo man or woman: fearless, creative and charming. This astrological sign brings a sense of ingenuity and inspiration. Natural leaders, Leos excel as CEOs, managers, musicians, athletes, and in sales or in top government jobs.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) is one of the most powerful, intimidating, passionate, and intense signs of the zodiac. They are intelligent, philosophical, motivated, purposeful, analytical, and resourceful and can focus like no other zodiac signs, blocking out distractions while being intrigued and curious by mysteries that must be solved. This sign excels as surgeons, attorneys, detectives, engineers, attorneys, espionage, scientists, and physicists.

Capricorns (December 22 - January 19). Ambitious and requiring challenge, Capricorns are tenacious, dependable, responsible, and organized and often enjoy power. They are goal-oriented and have a tendency towards working too much. Conquering obstacles is key. Capricorns excel as scientists, directors, developers, IT engineers, self-employment, CEOs or other top positions.

These are only some examples of wealth-driven zodiac signs. Of course any astrological sign possesses the ability to be successful; it is all about how one implements the skills one was given, and developing supplemental skills that will enhance natural abilities. And many of the high profile wouldn't be in these positions without the support of less power-hungry people who make it possible.

I believe that the earth signs: Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo have the biggest earning potential by the nature of their signs.

Follow the link below to a forbes article about the richest zodiac signs. It's kind of a study showing that the richest sign on average is Virgo having roughly 12 percent of billionaires born in this sign.

People born under the zodiac sign of Virgo are hard workers, great analytical skills, and have a keen sense for details. Probably those are the skills necessary to make a lot of money. Among the wealthier zodiac signs are Aries, Aquarius, and Scorpio individuals.

At the bottom of the list is Sagittarius. Sagittarians represent just 6 percent of the billionaires. Sagittarians are not well organized and can even be sloppy. They are usually focused on the global scale, rather than taking care of the little details. Probably those skills are detrimental to acquiring great wealth.
